HAZCO has constructed many and varied types and sizes of bio–remediation cells as large as 200,000 tonnes in order to meet the economic and liability needs of our clients.

Cell features include:
• Above ground or below ground construction
• Powered ventilation, passive ventilation or no ventilation cells
• Use of various liner types e.g. HDPE, PVC and RPE
• Earthen or concrete wall construction
• Leachate collection system with easy access for future sampling

The cells are sloped to prevent accumulation of rainwater on top cover. The treatment of contaminants range from oil and grease to pentachlorophenols.
