The recessed chamber mobile filter press is equipped chambered filter plates mounted vertically on two sidebars. (We offer two sizes of mobile filter presses; 84 cubit foot capacity and 124 cubic foot capacity.) Filter cloth is mounted over the two surfaces of each filter plate. Slurry is pumped up to the press from mix tanks or directly from source pond or tank, and the sludge passes through the feed area along the length of the press from both ends and into the chambers until the chamber areas are filled. Under pressure, the slurry particles begin to deposit on the surface of the filter cloth. As filtration continues, a filter cakes gradually build up within the chambers.
When the recessed chamber has become packed into a cake and the filtrate flow has discontinued, the cycle is complete. The pressure is released and the plates are separated allowing the cake to drop to the conveyor belt located under the length of the press. The cake is then conveyed to the end of the press and dropped into a cake box.
Dredging Services Dredges are used to complement Filter Press operations. One of the benefits of utilizing a Dredge is that the pond or lagoon can remain in service while dredging is taking place.
We offer various sizes of Dredges to suit the requirments of any project. |
