• Technical support and marketing services are provided under contract by HAZCO Environmental Services Ltd.
• Non-Hazardous waste is accepted for direct landfill disposal
• Petroleum Contaminated Soil (PCS) is accepted for remediation as either recyclable petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated or non-recyclable soils

 

Common waste streams accepted include:

• Waste generated from: flare pits, ecology pits, evaporation ponds, well-sites
• Drilling waste (cuttings)
• Tank and treater bottoms
• Hydrocarbon, salt, or other contaminated soils
• Fly ash
• Catalyst, desiccant beads
• Asbestos

 

All disposal projects are subject to a waste approval procedure involving an evaluation of the physical and chemical characteristics of the waste. Generators will be required to provide representative third-party analysis for each new waste stream and for each new location.

 

Design information
The bioremediation area is designed with:

 

• One (1) meter high berms around the perimeter to prevent run on of surface water and runoff of leachate.
• The base of the bioremediation area is constructed with a 0.5m thick compact, low permeability clay liner, sloped at 1% to collect leachate.

 

The industrial landfill disposal cell is constructed with:
